Biography

Caroline Mayer began her musical journey at the age of 4, playing classical piano and taking part in numerous concerts thereafter.

At the age of 10, she was admitted to Sweden’s best music school, Adolf Fredrik and began to cultivate her passion for singing and performing. Her musical journey brought her to the Berstein School in Bologna, Italy, where she trained musical theatre for 3 years, singing, dancing and acting.

Over the years, she has performed in theaters in Italy (Sweeney Todd, Ragtime, Parade, Into the Woods, etc.). She also performed at the prestigious ceremony for the 100th anniversary of the London Palladium in London.

Caroline lives in a small village in Provence, where she has concerts all over France with her quartet. During these last years, it is Jazz that has brought her to multiple collaborations with renowned musicians and performances between Sweden and France, from small intimate club stages to Jazz festivals such as "Jazz En Touraine", "Jazz sous les Châtaigniers", "Jazz bat la campagne", "Festival Les musicales dans les vignes" ...

Her first album recorded at the legendary Studio La Buissonne released in 2018 perfectly combines the great classics of jazz with legendary french songs.

Her new album "Everything must change" is a poetry of suspended time, inspired by the silence of the confinement and nature regaining its beauty. The album will be released in December 2021.
